Salt-Waters

I wore this dress over the weekend when Bruce and I went to dinner and the movies. We saw Now You See Me which was pretty entertaining, but I was a little disappointed in the ending (although I don't know how I would have ended it). The is probably the easiest outfit ever. The dress is a little big, but I have started buying things a little loose or a size up just because I am not a skin tight kinda gal. This dress is plain but it is also a blank canvas that you can dress up or down. The necklace is from Forever 21 and my favorite sandals of all time are these Salt-Water Sandals. They are a classic that started out as a children's shoe.

A little history: Salt-Water Sandals originated in the early 1940s as an alternative to traditional children's leather sandals as a way to cope with leather shortages in World War II. The sandals were made primarily from scrap leather left over from making men's shoes.

They have become increasingly popular as they come in every color possible and they are made of waterproof leather so they are perfect for the beach too (hence the name). You can find them on a variety of websites including ModCloth, Anthropologie, and Salt-watersandals.com. They might not be everyone's cup of tea, but they are sooo comfortable and I kind of love them.

P.S. My hair needs a dye-job badly...its beginning to ombre itself.
